Sled push is a great way to work on acceleration mechanics and develop power! You can use different variations in load to work on strength or power.
If you want to work on starting strength, load the sled heavy and work on pushing down thru the ground getting to extension as fast as possible.
If you want to work on power, load the sled so that you can achieve at least 80% of your max speed and drive for reps of 4-6 seconds.

Walking lunges are an excellent move for developing lower body strength for all athletes. Here are 3 keys π to a good walking lunge.
1οΈβ£ Posture - keep your upperbody as vertical as possible and avoid leaning forward past the knee to protect your lower back
2οΈβ£ Foot Placement - don’t take a giant step. When you place your foot on the ground in front of you, the front shin should be vertical or at a slightly positive angle.
3οΈβ£ Push thru the ground - this is very important! Push your front foot thru the ground to create the forward movement. Avoid using your back to pull you upwards and then using your front leg to pull you forward.
